About
This Fall, Miss Jenny will release a compilation album of Southern Illinois American roots songwriters that she is producing funded by a Mellon/ACLS Grant. Commissioned to write for the album, she pulls from the well of rural experiences that while maybe more familiar to a midwesterner, shares in the human experience. Religious experiences, floods, small town life, hard lessons, or hard drinking, her songs are an invitation to come as you are.
Miss Jenny and The Howdy Boys released self their self-titled, debut album in 2020. They've headlined festivals and fairs around the heartland and have opened for Sarah Shook and the Disarmers and more.
